Welcome to Feis Keeper. Feis Keeper, LLC ("Company," "we," "us" and/or "our") enables people to plan, organize, and promote Irish dance competitions (“Competitions”). We do this through our Web site and domain, the services available on or through our Web site and domain or otherwise provided by us, (collectively, the "Services"). Feis Keeper also allows users to register for Competitions being manages through our Services.
We take the privacy of your Personal Data and other information seriously. Because of that, we have created this Privacy Policy. Please read this Privacy Policy as it includes important information regarding your Personal Data and other information.
This Privacy Policy describes how information, including personally identifiable information, is collected, used, and disclosed through our Web site (“Personal Data”). All undefined words and phrases are governed by our Web Site Terms and Conditions of Use and Service.
By using the Services or allowing someone to use the Services on your behalf, you are consenting to our collection, use, disclosure, transfer and storage in accordance with this Privacy Policy of any Personal Data or other information received by us as a result of such use. If you are the parent or guardian of a dancer, or if you are a dancer over the age of 18, you have the right to refuse the use of Personal Data at anytime. However, refusing such use will render us unable to provide Services to you. You also have the right to ask us to remove any Personally Identifiable Information from our system. If you wish to do so please contact us at help@feiskeeper.com. Note that some transactional information (competition results and registration information for example) will remain archived for historical purposes.
(a) PERSONAL DATA UPON REGISTRATION OF USER ACCOUNTS. Personal Data is collected from you when you register an account with our Web site. Specifically, as part of registering an account, we collect a username, password, your e-mail address, and the name of the participating dance school in which you are affiliated, if any. Optionally users may provide other information like their address, phone number, etc. Rules regarding who may register a User Account (“Account Owner”) are governed by our Web Site Terms and Conditions of Use and Service.
Optionally, you may request Teacher level access to the school you are affiliated with.
(b) CONFIRMATION OF USER ACCOUNT REGISTRATION. Once a registration is submitted to us by you, subject to additional criteria under our Web Site Terms and Conditions of Use and Service, we will send a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address you provided to us. This confirmation e-mail has further instructions and a hyperlink where you can confirm and activate your account. Once you click on the hyperlink, your Web browser should open a special page on our Web site, where you will be able to activate your account.
If you requested Teacher level access, then once we confirm your Teacher status at the school your requested we will activate the teacher related features and access for the Site on your User account.
If we do not obtain confirmation in a reasonable period of time, then the hyperlink in the email becomes inactive and the account requested will remain inactive unless you contact us to activate your account manually.
(c) PERSONAL DATA NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE IN COMPETITIONS. Once your account is confirmed, then you may sign-in to your account and, in order for your Dancer to participate in Competitions, you will be able to add a Dancer Record on your account. In order to add a Dancer you will need to provide the following information about the Dancer: the first name and last name, date of birth and sex. No Dancer will be able to participate in Competitions until all Personal Data is submitted. With respect to families, multiple Dancer Records can be added within a single user account.
Users that have been granted Teacher level access can add Dancer Records under their School's "Students" page. Similarly, Teachers will need to enter first and last name, date of birth and sex for all new Dancer Records.
In order to prevent duplicate Dancer Records, if a User account requests to add a new Dancer Record that already appears to exist (presumably because a Teacher added that Dancer as a Student) then the Dancer is added to the User in a "Pending" state meaning the User cannot do anything with that Dancer until the Teacher approves the User's access to that Dancer. This is done to protect the privacy of the Dancer until the Teacher can verify the identity of the User requesting access.
(d) WEB SITE BROWSING DATA. Like many other commercial Web sites, our Web site may use a standard technology called a “cookie” to collect information about how you use the site. (e) DEMOGRAPHIC DATA. We reserve the right to collect aggregate demographic data from our account users and dancers, concerning class characteristics, and to share this information with third parties, e.g., commercial advertisements displayed on our Web site. No identifying or personal information (for example, name, contact information, and school) will be used or shared in connection with the demographic data. Account users are encouraged, but not required, to seek the advice of their Dance Instructor before registering any Dancer in any Competition.
(b) LIMITED POSTING OF RESULTS FROM DANCE COMPETITIONS.
